Blower door test or forced leakage testing

Up to 40% of a homes heating and cooling cost can be atributed to air leaks and drafts. Other concernes are dirty/contaminated air coming in from underfloor and attic areas. Are your central heating and cooling working efficiently and affectivly?

By using a calibrated electric blower unit and computer program we are able to pressurize or depressurize a building in order to simulate a steady wind from all directions of the building (in other words make your house extra leaky for the test).

We are able to give you a total leak area in square meters (SQM) (equivalent to an open window area). While your house is under pressure we use thermal imaging to find the leaks. some would be nearly impossible to find any other way.

After a thermal scan we will give you a full report including photos showing the areas of leakage and suggestions to solve the problems.
